| Bicycles | Includes bicycle equipment and accessories. If the loss is caused by fire or other Specified Peril, then the Specific Limit does not apply |
| Cash Replacement Option | You have the choice to accept a cash settlement on lost or damaged personal property – based on full replacement cost, without deduction for depreciation. Most policies require that you actually replace the personal property before being reimbursed for replacement cost --- otherwise, your cash settlement would be actual cash value (i.e. depreciated value) |
| Contents in Storage | Coverage is extended to cover loss or damage to personal contents while in storage at any location within British Columbia. There is no requirement that the personal contents has to be in a proper Storage Facility. |
| Credit / Debit Card Protection | Provides coverage if your credit or debit card is stolen and/or used without your authorization, excluding unauthorized use by a resident of your household or someone that you gave your card to. |
| Debris Removal | Provides coverage for the cost to remove debris of the property insured if it is damaged as a result of an insured peril. |
| Excavation & Land Stabilization | Coverage for the costs to excavate, replace or stabilize land that has shifted or subsided as a result of an insured loss. |
| Extended Care Facility Protection – Contents | Your or your spouse’s personal belongings are covered if you or your spouse is moved to a care home, in British Columbia |
| Fungi or Spore remediation Expenses | If a covered water damage loss results in fungi or spores being in your home, coverage is provided for the covered property and expenses to test for and rid the home and contents of fungi and spores. |
| Gardening Equipment Including attachments & accessories |
Coverage is provided for loss or damage to motorized gardening equipment and other vehicles used exclusively to service your premises, which are not licensed for road use |
| Identity Fraud Expenses | Covers the expenses incurred to restore your identity and credit rating. |
| Jewelry | Includes watches and gems. If the loss is caused by fire or other Specified Peril (see definition), then the Specific Limit does not apply |
| Legal Assist | Offers a toll free number to call and seek advice / information from a lawyer regarding a wide range of legal or consumer issues |
| Lock Replacement | Coverage for the cost of re-keying or replacing the locks if the keys are stolen or lost. |
| Parent Property | Coverage for personal property of your father or mother who are living in a care facility in Canada |
| Personal Computer Hardware | Coverage for your computer equipment that is not being used for business purposes. |

| Personal Liability | Coverage for sums that you are legally liable to pay because of bodily injury or property damage. Bodily Injury includes sickness or disease or resulting death. Property Damage is physical damage to, or loss of use of tangible property. |
| Plants & Lawns | Coverage for damage to trees, shrubs, plants and lawns on your property. |

| Search and Rescue | Expenses incurred by a search and rescue effort to find you, or a member of your family, if you are listed as being lost and/or missing. |

| Spoilage of food in Refrigerator or Freezer | Coverage for loss or damage to the contents of any refrigerator or food freezer unit if caused by an outside power failure or mechanical breakdown of the unit. |
| Student Property | Coverage for the personal property of a family member who is temporarily away from home to attend a school, college or university. |
| Theft from Vehicle | If you take the precaution of locking personal property in the trunk of your vehicle, there is no limitation of coverage. |
| Wine Spoilage | Coverage for loss or damage to wine in a refrigerator if caused by an outside power failure or mechanical breakdown of the refrigerator. |
